Why put off what you can do today for tomorrow which is not promised. 2. Share a time when you overcame an obstacle in your life? At the age of 14 I had run away from home because I had a lot of emotional problems in my relationship with my mom. We didn’t get along much at all. She had gotten involved in a relationship with a man that had young children at the time and she would show more love and affection to the youngest of his children. I wondered for a long time if she loved me as much as she loved his younger son, because she didn’t show my brothers and I much love and affection, so it was strange to me that she could do it for another mans child and not for her own children. I left because I felt neglected and felt that if I was going to feel like that in my home with my own mother then I would rather go through life on my own. I left home and I was homeless for months sleeping in the subway and in parks. I went through my freshmen year in high school in this state and no one knew. Towards the end of my freshmen year I made lots of friends in school and one of the guys I became friends with told his mom what was going on with me and she let me stay with them for a little while until I was able to get a job and then rent out a room. From then on I worked on providing for myself. As time passed I worked on rebuilding my relationship with my mom. As I took care of myself and matured I realized what it was that my mom was going through that made things the way they where in our house during my younger years. I am happy to say I am now in a place in my life where my mother and I are closer then ever and all the things I went through from the time I left home until I became who I am today has given me the drive to achieve my life goals to obsession. 3. Share something that you want others to know about you. I am an entrepreneur building a lifestyle brand that allows the everyday person or family create experiences that most people think about doing but feel that only the super rich or well off have the opportunity to take part in. 4. What is a piece of advice you would want to leave /give to someone? I would tell everyone that would listen that success should be your obligation, duty, and passion to obsession. You have to succeed not for yourself but for those that are watching you hoping to one day strive and rise to greatness. 5. Describe something/someone that excites you/makes you happy. There are two people that excite me and make me happy two special ladies in my life. My wife and my daughter are the reason I get up every day and achieve a little bit more of my goals. This is what will get me to the vision that I have in my head for my family. The most powerful force in life is love and I have it in abundance because of them. My daughter is a breath of fresh air. She is well accomplished in her schoolwork averaging between a B+ and A+ on all of her subjects in school. She is also very creative like me. She loves fashion and gymnastics. My wife is so hard working she is my partner in every way: personal and business. She is also well accomplished she has two degrees one being a masters. She is currently working on her second master in human resources. From a young age I was taught by my teachers and mentors to surround myself with people smarter then I am and I will go far so that is exactly what I have been doing. 6. What motivates you? Seeing the world and how people truly live motivates me. I am not fascinated by what I see on TV. I love to see the world from my own prospective. Yes there are some great storytellers out in the world but nothing compares to seeing it for your self. I would love to take as many people with me as I can to see the world or at least give them the platform to see it for themselves. Travel is the cure to ignorance, you will never be left to wonder or guess about anything that you seek out yourself. You will never feel buyers remorse you spend your money and time seeing the world. 7. Do you believe in free will or predestination? This question isn’t that simple to answer for me. I believe that we have free will to an extent but only to make a choice. I believe we have a set number of paths in which we can operate. I don’t believe we have the free will to do what ever we want because we didn’t create will nor did we create our own lives. With that being said we have to operate in the parameters of who and what created us. Some believe that we are self governing but I am not one of those people. The reason I believe this is because we have a limit on how much we can do and change in our own lives and as well as other beings lives plants, animals Etc. To say we live in predestination is just as complicated of a topic. Predestination means that our paths have been set in stone, which I believe is true to some extent but not completely. We have paths that are set by the power that governs our lives. I believe we have the ability to chose the path but those paths can be changed or altered by the will of the power that govern our lives. There are infinite paths but because our steps are ordered by the powers that govern our lives this is how we live in some form of predestination. 8. When you’re stressed and think of your “happy place” what do you think of? When I am stressed and think of my happy place I often look to the future and not the past. I feel sometimes people tend to want to hold onto the good times that have past; I like to look to the great times to come. The reason I do this is I believe it is a positive thing and it conditions the mind to look forward to the good things to come. This is also one of the building blocks to what is called the laws of attraction “so a man thinketh so is he”. I like that the term we use is “going through” something because that means there will be a coming out at some point. So my happy place is in the future that is to come and the work that I am doing to get to it!!
